The Flute Studio of Bill and Beth Larsen has been producing Lee County's finest flutists for almost 20 years. Our emphasis is on fundamentals including basic tone production, scales, articulation, techique, rhythm and intonation. We also prepare students for College, All-State, and All-County auditions and work on a variety of solo literature throughout the year in anticipation of the Florida Bandmaster's Association Solo and Ensemble Festival.

The Larsens teach at their home in San Carlos Park, South Ft. Myers. Students receive a weekly half hour or full hour lesson. We believe that progress is achieved by adherring to a regular weekly lesson schedule.

Generally, younger students start with a half hour lesson. This time is devoted to bringing the young flutist to or beyond the level of his/her band. Advanced 8th grade through adult students have the option of weekly hour long lessons. Much more time is available to administer to individual problems and the introduction of more sophisticated flute repertoire.

Our studio is open to students of all age levels.
